God
There is one God, Creator of all existing things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations, namely Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Bible
The Holy Scriptures, the Old Testament and New Testament, are the inspired inerrant Word of God, and the complete revelation of His will for the redemption of men through salvation, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.
The Church
We believe that the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ is one, universal and indivisible, formed by people, without distinction of race, nationality, language, or customs, who have been baptized into one body by the Holy Spirit (1st Corinthians 12:13).
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is one hundred percent God and one hundred percent man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. A sinless man during His earthly life and ministry. He completed the final sacrifice for our sins on the cross. He arose from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, is now our High Priest and Advocate.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God Himself, manifesting in an Omnipresent way, invisible to natural eyes, glorifying the work of the Lord Jesus Christ in His plan of redemption by bringing conviction of sin to men, regenerating the believers, guiding, instructing, and empowering believers to live a godly life and fruitful life of ministry.
Man
Man was created in the image of God, but disobeyed in the Garden of Eden and lost his intimate spiritual relationship with God. He can be saved, (restored to his original position), through his faith in God, by believing and accepting the Gospel of Jesus and obeying His commandments to receive eternal life (John 3:16; John 5:24; Romans 5:12-21).
Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ soon after accepting Jesus as personal Savior. It is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life.
Communion
The Lord’s Supper is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner, the death of the Lord Jesus Christ. The unleavened bread represents the sinless body of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the wine represents the blood of Christ, which was shed for our redemption.
Salvation
The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His literal resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only those that receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and become children of God.
Resurrection of the Dead
There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead, the righteous believers to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
The Return of Jesus Christ
When Jesus returns to earth again, He will set his feet on the Mount of Olives, and He will establish His Millennial Reign in the city of Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:3-4). He will be seen by the people living in that area at the time. We believe that the church which will have gone to be with the Lord in the Rapture, will come back with Him at that time.
Ministry of the Church
We believe that the ministry of the Church is essential. It comes with a calling of God and a response from all serious believers. The Holy Spirit will prepare and equip those who are willing to minister, through spiritual gifting, to be used with the person’s natural talents.
Baptism Of The Holy Spirit
The Lord Jesus promised that He would send a Comforter to the believers (John 14:15-16). This was further confirmed on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2, where the first 120 disciples received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of new languages given by God, and the promise was confirmed to all future believers in Acts 2:38.
Additional Points of Doctrine
Sin And Salvation
Everyone has sinned and is in need of salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians. 2:8-9
Sin Unto Death
We believe that there is a sin unto death and that is the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Matthew 12:31-32.
Losing Your Salvation
It is possible for a person to lose their salvation if they turn away from the Lord. In the message of Jesus to the church of Sardis, He mentions that it is possible for some to have their name “written off” the book of Life. Revelations 3:5.
Repentance
Repentance is a necessary step of salvation. Repentance is a change of mind and heart that motivates the individual to turn away from sin and seek direction from God to live a life of obedience to God. That obedience must be reflected on the style of life of the individual.
ABOUT CHRISTIAN LIVING
As Christian we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, giving a positive testimony to others, not only through words, but also, with our behavior.
Holiness
Holiness is an inward state of being and it should reflect on our outward behavior. The meaning of holiness is the absence of sin in our lives, and even though we are still imperfect, as soon as we are aware of any sin, we need to confess it and turn away from it. 1st John 1:7-9.
Divine Healing
We believe that God has the power to heal all spiritual, emotional, and physical illnesses. The healing of our spirits, souls and bodies takes place through a combination of faith on the part of the believer, and the power of God manifested through the confession and declaration of His Word in the name of Jesus (Mark 16:17-18). The Word of God says that He has given some believers the gifts of healings (1st Corinthians 12), and these gifts operate under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
The Importance Of Doctrine
Doctrine is “teachings” of the Word of God. They are reflected in the Word of God as commandments. Any teaching that does not have a Word of God foundation or basis is a “dogma”. Some religions have additional teachings for their practices, but the foundation of the true Christian faith is the Word of God.
The Apostolic Message
The word ‘apostle’ means one who is an ‘ambassador or messenger’ sent to carry a message to the world. Jesus established and prepared 12 original apostles and sent them out to preach the gospel to all the world, (Mark 16:15), and He has continually sent messengers throughout the centuries until the present time to preach the wonderful message of salvation to every creature. Ephesians 2:19-22 states: “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone; in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”
The Oneness Of God
The foundational Scripture for this declaration is Deuteronomy 6:4, which says: “hear, o Israel: Jehovah our Lord, Jehovah is one.”
God has revealed Himself as a Father in a parental relationship to humanity, as the Son in a physical, visible, and tangible form to carry out the plan of redemption(Romans 5:8-21), and as the Holy Spirit as the fulfillment of his promise, to be a Comforter (‘paracleto’ in Greek), to his disciples (John 14:16-17).
